Got my Roland TD-12 V-drums today.. it's a cross between the TD-6 and TD-12, 'cause I immediately upgraded a few bits :D Trying out the Swing backing here. My technique sucks I know, never taken drum lessons, just feeling it out.. I'm a keyboard player (Tyros2) & singer but always wanted to try drums, and here I am. I'll continue posting my learning progress in the future! All comments and tips welcome!

This is a standard TD-12 kit, with PD-85's, PD-105, VH-11, CY-12R/C's. Didn't have to mod or do anything, just plugged the stereo cables from the Roland trigger outs into the Ion brain. In our case we had to unplug the bow/bell cable from the triple trigger CY-12R/C ride, even if the other end wasn't plugged in to anything (and it wasn't touching anything metal either), we got a lot of triggering even when we weren't touching anything or moving, don't know why.
