Its called 'Preikestolen' in Norwegian. Its a massive cliff 604 metres (1982 feet) above Lysefjorden river. The top of the cliff is approximately 25 by 25m, almost flat, and is a famous tourist attraction in Norway. We went there on 18 April 09 and it was a memorable trip.
Our visit to Preikenstoel, Norway in the summer of 2009. The Preikenstoel (Pulpit Rock) is a massive 604m (1982 ft) cliff in Norway's Lysefjorden offering stunning views of the fjord. It is visted by nearly 100 000 people each year willing to do the 4 hour roundtrip hike.
