dedicated to the late Mdm song may ling(wife of
the famous chinese kuomingtang general jiang kai
shek). The show depicts the life story & the
contributions of 3 soong sisters , song
ailing,chingling(wife of Dr Sun Yat
Sen),mayling(wife of nationalist general jiang kai
shek).After Dr Sun yat Sen died in 1920s,china was
split into 2 factions, the kuomingtang &
communists.General Jiang's kuomingtang is the
de-facto ruling party initially,the nationalists
were attacking the communists to unify china while
the japanese were invading chinese
territories.Eventually, the nationalists and
communists were united against the japs.However
after japs surrendered @1945, the CCP red army
slowly gain power & overwhelm the nationalist,
they later found the People republic of china.The
nationalist retreated to Taiwan.The movie shows
the patriotism of the chinese during the
revolutionary wars & sino-japanese wars
