| SARAH PALIN 1984 SWIMSUIT COMPETITION |
 |
STOP TAKING IT DOWN YOUTUBE, WE WILL NOT BE
SUPPRESSED!!!!
-----------------------------------------
Sarah Palin as Sarah Heath in the swimsuit
competition of the 1984 Miss Alaska beauty
pageant.
The guy who has the full tape is from Juneau, and
he says she gives a rather amusing flute
performance for her 'talent'. Let's hope he posts
the rest before the McCain lawyers hunt him down.
We've already seen how good they are at
suppressing what they don't want the public to
see. Tags : sarah palin bikini swimsuit miss ms alaska pageant |

| Steve Jobs demos Apple Macintosh, 1984 |
 |
Demo of the first Apple Macintosh by Steve Jobs,
January 1984, in front of 3000 people. Andy
Hertzfeld captured the moment quite well in his
retelling: "Pandemonium reigns as the demo
completes. Steve has the biggest smile I've ever
seen on his face, obviously holding back tears as
he is overwhelmed by the moment. The ovation
continues for at least five minutes before he
quiets the crowd down." Tags : 1984 apple mac macintosh demo steve jobs |

| Bonanza Banzai - 1984 |
 |
Bonanza Banzai was a popular group in Hungary.
This song is inspired by George Orwell's novel, it
has been released in 1991, on their 1984 album.
This is the original version, but there are
several remakes of it.
Here's a translation for the lyrics (got from
"Lirama" site):

(Background:)
It is the exact opposite of the stupid hedonistic
Utopias that the old reformers imagined. A world
of fear and treachery is torment, a world of
trampling and being trampled upon, a world which
will grow not less but more merciless as it
refines itself. Progress in our world will be
progress towards more pain. The old civilizations
claimed that they were founded on love or justice.
Ours is founded upon hatred. In our world there
will be no emotions except fear, rage, triumph,
and self-abasement. Everything else we shall
destroy everything. Already we are breaking down
the habits of thought which have survived from
before the Revolution.
Nineteen eighty-four
Machines are shaking my dreams
To prevent me from sleeping
To make me always tired
And to be interested in nothing, but nothing
They disfigure your beauty
To prevent you from excel
You will be harmless to them
Like all others
refrain:
I'm waiting for an angel to arrive
And pay for the sin, if I sinned
And if I have to go away from here, possible
That you'll bury my body
Your Big Brother watches you
His voice warns you from walls
He's at everywhere, you feel,
But unable to see anywhere
refrain
refrain2:
We're waiting for an angel to arrive
I'll pay for the sin, because I sinned
And if I have to go away from here, I'll go away
But please, bury my body
(Background:)
This is the future! Nineteen eighty-four!
This is the future!
...Who controls the past, controls the future,
who controls the present, controls the past.

| Hillary '1984' |
 |
This campaign spot for Obama Barack is a parody of
the 1984 Apple Computer Super Bowl spot. Hillary
Clinton has been substituted for IBM as the mind
numbing voice of conformity. In the original spot,
the Macintosh was introduced as 'the computer for
the rest of us.' Presumably, in this spot, Barack
Obama, 'is the candidate for the rest of us.'
(though a person would have to be older or check
the original spot to make this connection).
This post is an endorsement of the spot which is
the most clever of the campaign season. This is
not an endorsement of any candidate. Tags : Barack Obama Hillary Clinton Apple Computer Presidential Campaign Macintosh |

| Anti-Flag - "Welcome to 1984" |
 |
Who would Jesus bomb? Yeah, who would Jesus kill?
The double talk is past surreal
The word of god is now the word of hate
War is peace, and freedom is the police state
Can't you see the writing on the wall?
Democracy lays trampled on the floor...
You better believe that...
Hell yeah I'm confused for sure what I thought was
the New Millennium is 1984!
Mr. Orwell from the grave, adding fresh ink to the
page
As the unpresident declares an endless war...
Welcome to 1984!
Feels like Nazi Germany, and Hitler on TV,
As the unpresident spews his homophobic speech
Didn't the Allies fought a war to end extremist
fascist law
So tell me NOW what the fuck are we fighting for?
I just can not take it anymore
Democracy lays trampled on the floor...
Man, isn't freedom great?!?!
Hell yeah I'm confused for sure what I thought was
the New Millennium is 1984!
Mr. Orwell from the grave, adding fresh ink to the
page
As the unpresident declares an endless war...
Now we've got...
Armies of peace, armed to the teeth, delivering
death to make the world a better place
So celebrate the weapons spending, say a toast to
Armageddon, raise some hell!
We're all headed straight to hell!!!
Hell yeah I'm confused for sure what I thought was
the New Millennium is 1984!
Mr. Orwell from the grave, adding fresh ink to the
page
As the unpresident declares an endless war...
