Asians (Japanese Asians to be more exact) being
better at cosplaying is not a matter of race. Its
a matter of dedication. Although anime obviously
originates from the eastern world, cosplaying is
more than just outfitting, it is an essence of art
and hobby. Asian colleges even teach courses over
cosplaying, and professional models and
photographers are involved.

It's just that U.S. is a little behind in most
cases for cosplaying because of that difference.
