Off-Sónar Ed/Vice/Swear party in Barcelona with
the Ed Banger Rec All Stars behind the decks:
Xavier & Gaspard (Justice), DJ Mehdi (who likes my
t-shirt), Uffie (who thinks I'm nuts because of
that t-shirt), Feadz, Kavinsky, Midfield General,
People are Germs and of course Busy P himself.
That night, I might have just inspired the Ed
Banger crew for the whole t-shirt craze ;)

| Caravan carnage at banger race |

A race with a bang as drivers challenge for
honours at the British caravan Grand Prix. Old
cars and caravans were transformed into racing
machines as 20 competitors gathered in Bovingdon,
England for the annual caravan easter race. 20
cars and caravan combinations battled their way
around the 300 metre tarmac circuit. The race is
10 laps and those vying for the title must end the
race still towing their trailer. The first couple
of laps provided the main demolition mayhem as the
recognisable structures of the caravans soon
disappeared leaving the cars towing the metal
frame of the trailers. Hot Under the Collar

racing events across the country during our short

UK Banger racing is a full contact motorsport akin
to Demo Derby events seen in the USA. The
difference is that the events are run on paved and
loose surface tracks of up to 1/4 mile in length.
A typical meeting is made up of two or three
races, where the first to complete a certain
number of laps is the winner. The driver can spin
or crash his opposition out of the way. Most
meetings end with a destruction derby where those
with cars still running finish each other off by
travelling in any direction. The winner is the
last car running.
