Cristobal's friendship seems to confuse Yuniel, a
Cuban teenager. Cristobal is about to leave Cuba
and this worries Yuniel even more. Writing
liberates Yuniel and he enjoys it in solitude.
"Sometimes. Sometimes. I think writing is
absolutely useless. It won't even help me grasp
your name. Your name! though fresh and clear,
somehow tastes a little bitter".
"A veces. A veces
creo que escribir no sirve para nada. No sirve ni
siquiera para aprender tu nombre, que es claro y
fresco. Y a veces también un poco amargo.." Tags : short film art festival gay cuba sex explicit fuck ronaldinho boy erotic body painting nude |

| Zapasista Land Dispute - Mexico |
 |
April 1994
Mexico's Indian population is demanding a better
life.
Masked Zappatistas rebels meet government
officials in San Cristobal Town Hall. Zappatista
leader Marcos sits quietly to one side smoking his
trademark pipe. Land is the core of the dispute
which has seen rising tension among indigenous
Mexican Indians. In the Chiapas mountains Indian
villagers tell of the torture and disappearance of
three local elders. We go into the forest and film
the discovery of their bodies. Friends take
photographs of the men in happier days to their
distraught wives. In Altamirano the military
presence fills every street. Tanks and guns
advertise the might of the government should the
Zappatistas demand too much. Some of the poorest
Indians take up the fight and camp outside San
Cristobal's town hall; they graffiti its walls
with their grievances. Chiapas is divided,
military roadblocks restrict daily life Tags : Mexico Zapasista Land Dispute Grievances Graffiti |

| Santiago's funicular |

I'm sorry for the glitch near the end. I don't
know why this happens when I encode my video to
DivX.
This saturday The Bear and I went to San Cristobal
hill's teleferico, which consists of small pods
that carry people around through some wires up in
the air. To get there you can climb the hill
yourself by walking, or you can take the
funicular. This video shows the entire funicular
ride up to the top of San Cristobal's hill. I get
dizy just by looking at the footage.
The birds you can hear are from Santiago's Zoo,
which is midway to the top of the hill.
At 7:15, you can see Santa Lucia's hill, which is
another hill in Santiago. I thought that one was
tall, now look at where I'm at!
At 7:36 you can see Parque O'higgins' dome, which
is pretty near to my university's faculty (where I
studied and where I'm getting my Master's degree). Tags : funicular teleferico santiago chile san cristobal hill |
