Bridge, for the outcast dead, including
prostitutes from the 'stews' of Bankside known as
'Winchester Geese'.
The Southwark Mysteries, an epic tale of love,
death and redemption set in the underbelly of the
City and shifting through Time & Myth, was
written to transmit the mysteries & histories that
were revealed by the Goose to John Crow as he
passed by CrossBones one night...
The author, John Constable, regularly performs
work from this cycle of poems and plays and
conducts seasonal celebrations, including 'The
Halloween of Crossbones'.
