Canon City, CO - A man, powered only by a jet
pack, successfully traveled 1,500 feet across the
Royal Gorge on Monday.
Eric Scott used a hydrogen-peroxide powered
jetpack to cross the Royal Gorge near Canon City
on Monday, pushing the outer limits of a
technology long ago abandoned by the military.
According to a spokesperson for Scott, he
completed the flight in 21 seconds. The jet pack
itself only contained 30-seconds-worth of fuel.

There seems to be a lot of questions concering the
meaning of this song. I've provided an explanation
which I found on wikipedia. I think this explains
the songs meaning quite well.
The song describes a fatal late night bus
accident, on a bus traveling from the USA to
Mexico. The song describes four passengers, a
"farmer and a teacher, a hooker and a preacher" as
the song puts it. When the bus crashes, There are
memorials to the teacher, the farmer, and the
preacher at the roadside- Three Wooden Crosses.
The song then recounts how each earned their
memorial through their services to the community.
At this point in the song the singer questions why
there isn't a fourth cross, as a memorial to the
prostitute, until it is explained that the
preacher, as he was dying, gave his Bible to the
prostitute. The song concludes with the revelation
that story was told to the singer by the son of
the prostitute involved in the crash, who is now a
preacher. She survived the crash and brought her
son up as a Christian, reading him the Bible given
to her by the preacher killed in the crash.

The Royal Gorge, cut by the Arkansas River in
southern Colorado, is more than 1,100 feet deep.
The Royal Gorge Bridge that spans it was the site
of a deadly stunt in October 2003 when Dwain
Weston, 30, apparently miscalculated a parachute
jump while wearing a "wing suit" and hit a railing
on the bridge and fell to his death.

Lithuania's national treasure, the Hill of
Crosses, has a troubled and mysterious history.
The Soviets repeatedly tried to destroy it. Now,
it's become a symbol of the nation's struggle and
spirituality.
The Hill of Crosses -- a small mountain of
approximately 100,000 crosses -- is a curious
phenomenon. No one manages or organises it -- it
just is. The Soviets razed it again and again,
only to have the crosses reappear. As Prof
Viatanis Rimkis explains: "During the struggle for
our freedom, the crosses became a weapon that was
invincible."
