No offense to Nalts-he seems like a nice guy, but
we're getting a bit tired of seeing amateur,
adoloscent videos online. Maybe we're a bit
idealistic, but lets hope that Diet Coke and
Mentos exploding is not the future of online
video. For those who don't know, Nalts is one of
the most popular "personalities" on YouTube. He's
racked up millions of hits posting videos with
titles like "Farting in Public" and "Drink Windex
(don't)".
Turns out Nalts is a product manager at a
pharmaceutical company by day and has shot
"discrete" marketing videos for Mentos and GPS
Maniac. It's good to see someone making money
from online video, although we'd like to see some
of the wealth spread out beyond Poopyville (which
is apparently Nalts' hometown according to his
Youtube profile) to more serious filmmakers like
Arin Crumley, who created Four Eyed Monsters and
is featured at the end of the video.
Time will tell...

When Susan and Arin met online, they found a way
to combine art and life. They digitally documented
their lives, and turned their relationship into a
feature film. This personal and poignant podcast
documents their journey. Tags :internetfilm

Doug Howlett with Southern Sporting Journal
speaking with Jim Crumley of Tree Bark fame
discussing methods to get a turkey. It is easier
to get a turkey if he is above you and you call
him in. Try and get on the ridge with them. Tags :DougHowlettSouthernSportingJournalJimCrumleyTreeBarkTurkeyHunting
