| SolidWorks Lesson: Model an Atom, Nucleus and Electrons |
 |
http://www.CADjunky.com
This lesson develops the spherical and circular
geometry utilized to create an atom with a nucleus
and electrons in orbit. Students will create a
sphere with multiple configurations to represent
different elements of the atom. This original
ideal was provided by Jeff Mosby.
This is a SolidWorks Lesson Plan and Tutorial
developed by Marie Planchard for use by Students,
Eductors and Teachers for Instruction and
Demonstration to reinforce Education of SolidWorks
3D CAD Mechanical Engineering Design Software.

| Verde: greening of electrons (full version) |
 |
A video poam about the first three lines of
Frederico Garcia Lorca's "Somnambule Ballad"
and the role of green in a longterm romance. Made
for Vantine's Day (but applicable on any day) this
video poam is a companion to "Verde," a prose
piece available at poetrymagazine.org. The piece
may also be read at Encyclopedia.com

).
Revels in the bounties of love
and the possible translations of (almost) anything
into romance.
Overtures to love and fulfillment of love.
How green even the electrons become in the context
of a love so vital and encompassing.
A limited fork poam.
Featured in the VVF (Venturous Vanguard Film
Festival) in 2007.
Script of "Verde: the greening of electrons":
"It turns out that I didn't marry a poet after
all, that all the poetry he knew was verde que te
quiero verde. Verde viento. Verdes ramas. El barco
sobre la mar.
The green me, avocado cream on my face to maintain
suppleness I've kept longer than most women my
age, just so he can say to me in the middle of the
night verde que te quiero verde, so I am green in
soft green light from a bulb the size of insects
in the green, green forest of the Amazon. Bedside
numbers flash green time, green silk sleep bonnet
covers my rollers with match for the gown slit
from thigh to hem like a melon splitting the
moment the knife approaches, blade green with
reflection so that ripeness cuts into ripeness as
only diamond cuts diamond, hundreds of green
facets and dimensions. We night-dance, as if in a
bowl of avocado soup, our movements those of green
aurora, this one silk and avocado, electrified
like borealis, like australis, effect of the
interaction of charged particles for thirty-five
years. The greening of electrons, my teeth green
when my smile catches fractions of green time in
which the night became as intimate as a little
square. Wanting to say everything possible, he
says the only poetry he knows, I want you green,
and I become green, as if made of the sea, of
algal bloom, of green skies that let go of a
bounty of hail, so green that under the gown is
green tea and cucumber lotion, so I am green to
his nose when his eyes close, green to the touch,
lotion under his nails. He asked me my favorite
poet when I was eighteen, and I said Lorca. He
said verde que te quiero verde for the first time
on our eighteenth anniversary.
When I was eight a boy painted my name in green
marker on his arms, the green of purpose, of my
verdant future, seeing what men good to me see, my
father pointing out the planet Venus, its green
glow."
