The Comptroller General of the United States
proclaims that our current standard of living is
unsustainable unless drastic action is taken. He
warns that funding shortfalls for the Medicare
program is five times worse than Social Security,
and it will take $8 TRILLION to pay for what is
promised today to beneficiaries, of which we have
ZERO!

It aired on PBS in 1987 and is as good as anything
on the tape (must see). Moyers is a very
respected TV journalist who also worked for Lyndon
B. Johnson and has a very professional approach.
He interviews many different people involved with
the CIA and other government agencies. His
documentary gives quite an overview of what has
actually happened in the last 50 years regarding
the CIA and the cold war (including Iran,
Guatamala, Cuba, Viet Nam and Chile). He features
such people as Ralph McGeehee and Phil Retinger
(both former CIA agents), Rear Admiral Gene La
Rocque (Ret. U.S.N.), Theodore Bissell (active in
the CIA at the time), Sen. Frank Church and many
others. Moyers is so very credible. The full video
"The Secret Government" is 90 minutes - this
segment is edited by Frank Dorrel to 20 minutes.

This just in: The government has censored the
declaration of independence! The hypocrisy of July
4th is astounding.
The Text:
Censoring the Declaration of Independence
Every July 4th Americans celebrate a revolutionary
document - The Declaration of Independence signed
July 4th, 1776. The Declaration talks about the
necessity "to dissolve the political bonds." About
"unalienable rights, that among these are life,
liberty and the pursuit of happiness." Most
radically of all it says "That whenever any form
of government becomes destructive to these ends,
IT IS THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO ALTER OR ABOLISH
IT, and to institute new government..."
But some people don't want us to get that
message...
If you go to the Jefferson Memorial you will see
that the engraving of the first lines of the
Deceleration of Independence leaves out "the
consent of the governed." and our "right to alter
or abolish" government...
Then there is this movie reading of the
Declaration which closes the door to Independence
hall just as we get to that important phrase...
Don't let the government and the media censor the
Declaration of Independence
It's time to celebrate the Fourth of July for what
it really is...
"Right to Alter or Abolish the Government DAY!" A
true people's holiday!
To clarify:
This video is pointing out that the government has
forgotten the true values that our country was
built on
I cite specific examples where the government has
gone AGAINST the people (such as the draft, or
iraq war). If we vote for them and they go against
the people then how is this a democracy? I am not
saying that I am in support for a direct democracy
or that I am a libertarian, I am simply saying
that the government should remember that the
government is "for the people by the people"

Just when you thought you've heard it all...
A senior government official with the U.S.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has
expressed great interest in a so-called safety
bracelet that would serve as a stun device,
similar to that of a police Taser®. According to
this promotional video found at the Lamperd Less
Lethal, Inc. website, the bracelet would be worn
by all airline passengers.
This bracelet would:
• take the place of an airline boarding pass
• contain personal information about the
traveler
• be able to monitor the whereabouts of each
passenger and his/her luggage
• shock the wearer on command, completely
immobilizing him/her for several minutes
The Electronic ID Bracelet, as it's referred to,
would be worn by every traveler "until they
disembark the flight at their destination." Yes,
you read that correctly. Every airline passenger
would be tracked by a government-funded GPS,
containing personal, private and confidential
information, and would shock the customer worse
than an electronic dog collar if the passenger got
out of line.
Clearly the Electronic ID Bracelet is a euphuism
for the EMD Safety Bracelet, or at least it has a
nefarious hidden ability (thus the term ID
Bracelet is ambiguous at best). EMD stands for
Electro-Musclar Disruption. Again, according to
the promotional video, the bracelet can completely
immobilize the wearer for several minutes.
So is the government really that interested in
this bracelet?
Apparently so.
According to this letter from DHS official, Paul
S. Ruwaldt of the Science and Technology
Directorate, office of Research and Development,
which was written to the inventor whom he had
previously met with, Ruwaldt wrote, "To make it
clear, we [the federal government] are interested
in . . . the immobilizing security bracelet, and
look forward to receiving a written proposal."
The letterhead, in case you were wondering, came
from a U.S. Department of Homeland Security office
at the William J. Hughes Technical Center at the
Atlantic City International Airport, or the
Federal Aviation Administration headquarters.
In another part of the letter, Mr. Ruwaldt
confirmed, "It is conceivable to envision a use to
improve air security, on passenger planes."
Would every paying airline passenger flying on a
commercial airplane be mandated to wear one of
these devices? I cringe at the thought. Not only
could it be used as a physical restraining device,
but also as a method of interrogation, according
to the same aforementioned letter from Mr.
Ruwaldt.
Would you let them put one of those on your wrist?
Would you allow the airline employees, which would
be mandated by the government, to place such a
bracelet on any member of your family?
Why are tax dollars being spent on something like
this?
Is this a police state or is this America?
