What motivated the 9/11 hijackers to attack the
US?
US foreign policy bias for Israel in the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict and US government
support for other oppressive regimes in the Middle
East.
The 9-11 Commission held its twelfth and final
public hearing June 16-17, 2004, in Washington,
DC. On June 16 the Commission heard from several
of the federal government's top law enforcement
and intelligence experts on al Qaeda and the 9-11
plot. It was at this hearing that the question
"What motivated them to do it?" was finally
asked. Lee Hamilton, vice chair of the 9/11
Commission said, "I'm interested in the question
of motivation of these hijackers, and my question
is really directed to the agents. ... what have
you found out about why these men did what they
did? What motivated them to do it?" The agents
looked at each other, apparently not eager to be
the one to have to say it. FBI Special Agent
Fitzgerald stepped up to the plate and laid out
the facts, "I believe they feel a sense of outrage
against the United States. They identify with the
Palestinian problem, they identify with people who
oppose repressive regimes and I believe they tend
to focus their anger on the United States." But
this testimony was kept out of the 9/11 Commission
Report and no recommendation was given to address
the main motive for the 9/11 attacks.
After the report was issued, the ten commissioners
formed the "9-11 Public Discourse Project." At the
August 2, 2005 session on foreign policy, Lee
Hamilton quickly tries to silence someone who asks
why US support for Israel isn't being addressed.
The questioner started to ask, "Mr. Hamilton? I
had a quick question for you sir. I had spoken
with you on C-SPAN about a month ago ..."
Immediately Hamilton interrupts him, "I think we'd
uh ..." The questioner persisted, "why aren't we
addressing the gorilla in the room? The gorilla in
the room is US support for Israel." He corrects
Hamilton's claim that the Israeli-Palestinian
dispute wasn't addressed in the 9/11 Commission
Report by referring to page 147 of the report
which says, "By his own account, Khalid Sheikh
Mohammed's animus toward the United States stemmed
not from his experiences there as a student, but
rather from his violent disagreement with U.S.
foreign policy favoring Israel."
The questioner keeps getting interrupted by
Hamilton as he pleads, "Why aren't we addressing
that sir?" Hamilton didn't answer and dismisses
the questioner, "Alright sir. Alright, this is a
conversation you and I ought to have. Let's not
take up the time of our resource people. May we go
to the next question please?"
"This was sensitive ground," Hamilton and Kean say
in their new book, "Without Precedent: The Inside
Story of the 9/11 Commission," and some
commissioners worried "listed U.S. support of
Israel as a root cause of al Qaeda's opposition to
the United States indicated that the United States
should reassess that policy." There is a reason
politicians don't want US support of Israel listed
as a root cause of al Qaeda's terrorism. There is
a reason politicians don't want the American
people to "reassess that policy." If the public
were to take a good look at the facts, if they
researched what the policies actually do to people
in the Middle East, they would be horrified.
Politicians lie to us about "hatred of our
freedoms" because they care more about serving
special interests than about keeping us safe.The
Commissioners were more interested in playing
politics than in fulfilling the 9/11 Commission's
mandate to "to provide recommendations designed to
guard against future attacks." These politicians
betrayed the American people. Dishonesty about the
9/11 motives robs us of the freedom to decide for
ourselves if we want to put our lives at risk over
specific foreign policies.

We've been told again and again that 19 Islamic
hijackers took over the 4 aircraft used on 9/11.
But the passenger manifests from the airlines
didn't contain any Arabic passenger names. Not to
worry. The FBI corrected this little problem. The
FBI's passenger manifests conveniently have about
a half dozen more people on each plane than the
airline's manifests. But then, there is another
little problem with the FBI's version of the
story. Amazingly, within a couple of days, the FBI
knew who all the hijackers were. Names, pictures,
everything we needed to know about them. Some of
them were names of people known to be still living
in Arab countries or known to have already been
dead before 9/11. Just how did the FBI figure out
who these alleged hijackers were so quickly when
the physical evidence (their bodies) was well
shredded and buried in mountains of rubble? Were
there really any hijackers at all? Was there some
other means to accomplish the control of those
ill-fated flights? Is the whole story of the
hijackers a concerted media spin effort to conceal
the real people, and their goals, behind the
terror of 9/11?
We must remember the historical conduct of our
main source for our current
information/misinformation. The FBI has been
exposed for operating an evidence manufacturing
laboratory which has been used to concoct evidence
and fraudulently convict innocent Americans. The
FBI is responsible for truckloads of lost or
missing documents and countless bungled
investigations, especially when the investigations
begin to reveal that those within government are
responsible for criminal activity. They continue
to possess 22 high quality video surveillance
tapes collected from cameras which recorded the
Oklahoma City bombing. The FBI still refuses to
release the tapes, even though the federal law
enforcement agency has been court ordered to do
so. And what about the 80 surveillance tapes which
recorded the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon?
Experience has shown the FBI can't be trusted with
the truth. With the FBI's previous history of
either manufacturing, falsifying or destroying
evidence in critical, high profile cases, aren't
these passenger manifest discrepancies, which led
to the quick identification of the 19 alleged
Arabic culprits of 9/11, a little suspicious?

Guetachew Assefa, said the three men who hijacked
Flight 961 died in the crash, and the two men held

while the suspects are from Kenya and Djibouti."
"A fourth Israeli victim of Saturday's crash of
the hijacked Ethiopian airliner was identified
Tuesday. He is Gadi Levy, a manager at Israel
Aviation Industries. Two other senior employees of
IAI, victims of the crash, were identified
yesterday: Shraga Bar-Nissan, 50, of Carmei Yosef,
and Amram Ben-David, 46, of Netanya.
Yaakov Braun, 30, a student from Tel Aviv also
perished in the crash landing. Three other
Israelis who were aboard the plane are still
unaccounted for. Lior Fuchs, the only Israeli
survivor, returned to Israel, and efforts are
being made to fly the bodies of the four deceased
back to Israel via Nairobi."

The six Saudis still alive whos i.d.'s were
stolen:-
* Abdulaziz Alomari, a name used by one of the
suspected hijackers on American Airlines Flight
11, the first plane that crashed into the World
Trade Center.
A man with the same name is an electrical engineer
in Saudi Arabia. He lived in Denver, where he got
his degree from the University of Colorado, from
1993 until last year.
"In 1995, his apartment was broken into in Denver
and his passport and other official documents were
stolen," Allagany said.
* Salem Alhamzi, a name used by one of the
suspected hijackers on American Airlines Flight
77, the plane that crashed into the Pentagon.
A man with the same name works for the Saudi Royal
Commission in the Saudi city of Yanbu.
* Saeed Alghamdi, a name used by one of the
alleged hijackers on United Airlines Flight 93,
the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania.
A Saudi Arabian pilot, currently on a mission to
Tunisia, has the same name.
* Ahmed Alnami, a name used by another suspected
hijacker on Flight 93.
A 33-year-old Saudi Arabian pilot with the same
name is alive in Riyadh.
* Wail Alshehri, a name used by one of the
suspected hijackers on American Airlines Flight
11.
A man by the same name is a pilot whose father is
a Saudi diplomat in Bombay. "I personally talked
to both father and son today," Allagany said.
* Waleed M. Alshehri, a name used by another
alleged hijacker on Flight 11, is the same name as
the other son of the diplomat. Allagany said that
man is living in Jidda.
"This is a respectable family. I know his sons,
and they're both alive," he said.
