 |
Buffaloes 5, Fighters 2
Chad Allen, formerly of the Kansas City Royals,
broke a 2-2 tie
with a two-run bases-loaded double with one out in
the sixth and
Arihito Muramatsu added insurance with a RBI
infield single in Orix's
come-from-behind victory over Nippon Ham.
Orix right-handed starter Tom Davey (1-0) limited
the damage to
two runs, despite allowing eight hits and two
walks in 6-2/3 innings
for the win. Reliever Lance Carter got three outs
in the ninth for
the save at Kyocera Dome in Osaka.
Nippon Ham right-hander Satoru Kanemura (0-1) took
the loss,
snapping a 15-game winning streak against Orix.
Fernando Seguignol
opened the scoring with a two-run blast in the
fourth, but Greg
LaRocca retorted in the bottom half with a two-run
drive of his own. Tags : baseball buffaloes fighters tuffy rhodes yasunari takagi オリックス バファローズ 北海道 日本ハム ファイターズ セギノール ラロッカ ローズ アレン 村松有人 高木康成 カーター |
