Institut FATIMA, 2 german musicians paul and
carsten living in Barcelona. They connected a
open source tracking software with their music
making program and found out, that for musicians
and performers a distance to the computers can be
in many ways usefull for their performances.
why tableless and screenless?
they are very sensible of the Email Checker
Syndrom: electronic laptop musicians look
conspicuously often like checking their email when
they are performing their music on stage. standing
upright beside their instruments allows them as
musicians and performers to communicate more with
their audience. with a tableinstrument or a screen
they are still suffering with the "ECS", because
the eyes are focusing downwards to the
applications. for this reasons Institut FATIMA is
using a very easy and cheap way with a webcam and
some paper cards which allows them to dance,
perfom and control or not control music
simultaneusly, wireless, without any cable
barriers.
they implemented it in their shows and will let
you soon play with their "magic" cards.

Just outside of Paris, in 1777, a park was built
in 64 days... It was a challenge ! Saturday the
22nd of September 2007, Institut Bonheur revived
the legacy of the "Jardin de la Bagatelle" by
hosting an outdoor party on these historical
grounds... Nadège and Florinda played their
favorite tunes to a mixed crowd of party-people.
Sorry about the poor quality (sound/video)...
But this is snaparrazzing !!!

| L'Institut Karma Ling |

En 1979, un petit groupe de pratiquants du Dharma,
à la recherche d'un lieu inspirant et silencieux,
acquièrent la Chartreuse de St-Hugon pour la
restaurer et en faire à nouveau un havre de
recueillement et de contemplation. L'ancienne
Chartreuse retrouve ainsi après 200 ans de
fortunes diverses sa destinée première : abriter
une communauté et un centre dont la vocation est
la vie spirituelle, la méditation et l'action.
De nombreuses constructions (chalets, centres de
retraites, résidence d'hôtes, temples, stupa)
sont édifiées, manifestant ainsi le renouveau du
lieu et l'activité de ses résidents. De grands
maîtres participent aux activités de l'Institut.
Le Dalaï Lama y a séjourné et enseigné à deux
reprises, en 1993 et en 1997.
