Christian left the Kora Reserve in 1973. He made
his new territory along the Tana river, but when
the Wakamba herdsmen kept bringing their livestock
to his hunting ground, he moved on. George Adamson
said in his autobiography, "I used to count the
days on which we hadn't seen Christian, but when
they reached 97, I gave up recording them in my
diary." Because a lion can live from 12 to 15
years in the wild, Adamson believed that Christian
ended his days in the Meru National Reserve only a
few miles up river.
"Lion Man" Gareth Patterson, author,
environmentalist, and the person who continued
George Adamson's lion rehabilitation work,
revisited Kora in 1998. This is what he found...

Ace "Berg" in a Daily Mail article) lives in
Australia as a lecturer and expert in the area of
Aboriginal Art, and John Rendall lives in the UK
and is a Trustee of the George Adamson Wildlife
Preservation Trust.

So these two people raised this lion cub who they
named Christian, and sadly he got too big for them
to take care of so they decided to release him to
live as a wild lion. Well, in this footage, a year
has passed and it looks like Christian's adapted
to living with a pride of lions when his old
friends come back to visit him. Watch closely and
you can see the look of pure disbelief that dawns
on his muzzle- it's awesome. ^_^ Next thing you
know, we have a heart warming reunion. Not long
after, members of Christian's pride approach and
even they seem to accept Christian's human
friends.
Again, THIS IS NOT MINE! This footage from

Kimba the White Lion. ^_^ So send all Kudos where
it belongs!
I'm only uploading these to give people who're
oblivious to Kimba an idea as to what the heart of

fearless ferret against lion.This lion was rescued
from the State Zoo.Her mother refused to take care
of her.Zoo was reluctant to take care of her.They
new that it is almost impossible to raise a day
old lion cub.So I volunteered and raised her till
she was 5.5 years old.She now lives in a sanctuary
with her friend bonny the dog.They have enough
space,shelter,food and care.
