Magnum XL-200
A true legend! The Magnum XL-200 at Cedar Point
didn't just break world records when it opened in
1989 - it shattered them! Standing an amazing 205
feet above the Earth below and cruising at a top
speed of 72 mph, this scream machine was the
tallest and fastest roller coaster ever created
when it debuted in 1989. As impressive as those
statistics are, coaster enthusiasts will tell you
the element that makes Magnum truly a coaster king
is its "airtime!" That feeling of floating over
each of the ride?s intense hills helps make Magnum
one of the greatest coasters of all time.
The Magnum is a traditional "out and back" coaster
that features 5,106 feet of track that winds its
way over Soak City and along the Lake Erie
shoreline, giving riders an unparalleled view of
the lake and the Cedar Point skyline. In 2005, the
Magnum XL-200 was voted No. 3 in the "Best Steel
Roller Coaster in the World" category in a poll
conducted by Amusement Today.
In only 17 seasons, Magnum has given more than 34
million guests a ride to remember. In 2005 alone,
1,888,539 guests rode Magnum. Riders must be at
least 48 inches tall.

GREAT 80's TV SERIES!!!
Written by the remarkable Donald P. Bellisario,
this series basically relates the life of Thomas
Sullivan Magnum (Tom Selleck), a retired U.S. NAVY
official that have been in the Vietnam war.
Now he lives in Hawaii working to solve mysteries
and help people as a Private Investigator
("P.I.").
The series also shows TC (Roger E. Mosley) and
Rick (Larry Manetti) - both are Magnum friends
that met him in the Navy. Jonathan Quayle Higgins
is a british house keeper that works for Robin
Masters, a famous book writer that allowed Magnum
to live in his mansion after a successful job he
made for him. There're also Zeus and Apollo, two
doberman dogs that together with Higgins will make
a nice team to bother Magnum (and bring a lot of
fun) in many episodes.
