| Band From TV - Minnie The Moocher |
 |
Okay so I made a Band From TV picture slide show
to my favorite song of theirs, Minnie the Moocher
(an original Cab Calloway song).
I never used any picture twice but I couldn't find
a whole lot of pictures of their band so I used a
few pictures of just some people in the band by
themselves (like Hugh Laurie, Greg Grunberg, and
Bonnie Somerville)...
I was pretty pleased with how this came out. I
usually don't like doing picture slide shows but I
do have 1 video clip in here so that helped me
like it more!
Well just please watch and rate and comment and
yeah!
AND YES PEOPLE, it is Hugh Singing at the
beginning!

| Minnie the Moocher - song only |
 |
Edit of Fleischer Brothers' 1932 cartoon "Minnie
the Moocher" with middle cut out, leaving only the
song.
Copyright has expired on the original cartoon, and
I doubt my edit is significant enough to
copyright.
I also zoomed in on the live action beginning
which is usually seen with thick black borders,
and fixed the audio.
I downloaded the original here:

| Minnie the Moocher with Cab Calloway & Betty Boop |
 |
Starting with a phenomenal live moment where Cab
Calloway free-form dances to his orchestra
swinging slow & sweet to St. James Infirmary.
Then things get rolling.
Home life is tough for Betty, so she hits the road
with her friend Bimbo. They venture into a
haunted forest and seek refuge in a dark cave.
Within, they encounter the alter-ego of Cab and
his band, the ghost of walrus backed by a symphony
of skeletons, monsters, and condemned ghouls.
The ending is quite spectacular.
