| Portrait Comparison - Male vs Female |
 |
It seems like a lot of people are either better at
drawing women and have trouble with men, or
vice-versa. Usually females have an easier time
drawing females and males have an easier time
drawing males. So I wanted to do a side-by-side
comparison of some of the differences when drawing
males compared to females. I know that the
presentation is a bit weird and awkward, but it's
the best way I could think of to show the
differences. I included a colouring portion to
show some of the concerns that need to be taken
into account when colouring also. I had no idea
what to call this, hence the crappy title.
Hope it helps some people.

| Jeg går en Tur - A self portrait by Lasse Gjertsen |
 |
OK, this video is very ego, sorry about that! My
dad suggested to upload it, and I though, what the
hell.. The language is norwegian, but I did my
best to subtitle it in english. If you hear the
word "tits-machine", don't worry, it means "time
machine" in norwegian, lol!
This video was my interpretation of the admission
assignment for an animation school in Norway,
which was to make a "self portrait in any
technique". I was studying in England at the time
(Spring 2005), but wasn't satisfied with that
school, and wanted to try another place.
I got in!
How it's made:
Filmed myself infront of a green screen, made it
to a walking cycle which could be looped forever.
The rest are pictures from England and Norway and
books, and are just mashed together in Premiere.
The music is me, played guitar and harmonica
myself (two instruments I actually can't master)
but it sounds ok enough. Music edited together in
FL Studio. Tags : lasse gjertsen selvportrett self portrait talking philosophy norsk norwegian lol ass and titties |

| ORIGINAL Elephant Painting |
 |
Can your elephant paint? Watch this elephant,
rescued from abusive treatment in Burma, now paint
a beautiful image of an elephant. You'll be
amazed at how her talent unfolds as she carefully
completes each stroke. Her mahout talks to her
throughout the process as his gentle touch gives
her confidence. She focuses on her work and seems
to enjoy the approval of the audience and, of
course, the sugar cane and banana treats. All of
her training has been reward based.
So touched by their horrific backgrounds and
loving personalities, ExoticWorldGifts.com now
supports, "Starving Elephant Artisans" by selling
their paintings so they can continue to have a new
life in Thailand.
Some Thai elephant experts believe that the
survival of the Asian elephant species will most
likely depend on the good treatment of the
elephants in well managed privately owned elephant
camps. All of us would prefer that all of the
elephants be free to be in the wild. For many
reasons, that is not possible at this time. Tags : Elephant Painting Exotic World Gifts |
