A 2 minute time-lapse video of Earth Hour in
Downtown Toronto on March 29, 2008.
The two main locations of this clip are Nathan
Phillips Square (facing towards the Financial
District) and Dundas Square (facing north up Yonge
and towards the Toronto Life Square Building.)
The song in this video is "Now we are free" by
Lisa Gerrard. Tags :TorontoEarthHour2008DundasSquareNathanPhillipscityscape
This was recorded 26 October 2007 in downtown
Toronto, Canada.
Michel de Broin, an artist, had totally stripped
down a 1986 Buick Regal and outfitted it with 4
independent pedal and gear mechanisms. This was
part of 'art' piece being exhibited at the Mercer
Union Gallery (24 October - 8 December).
Anyway, the police noticed the car's test drive
and thought to pull it over and check it out.
No tasers were employed, but it did cost the
occupants an expensive towing charge. Tags :pedalcarpulledoverbypoliceToronto
NOTE: I did not write this song, and I myself live
in and love Canada!!!
I little thing I made when I was bored. It's a
funny song about Toronto and Canada.....anyways,
enjoy! Tags :torontosongarrogantwormsthreedeadtrollsfunny
