| Panasonic DMC-TZ1 video test |

Here is some testing of video recording of
Panasonic DMC-TZ1. Actually I am amazed with
quality of results. This is 4 videos glued
together using Kino.
You can see how image stabiliser is working. It
won't do miracles because it is not steadicam
solution, but indeed it makes video not shaky.
Because of continous autofocus enabled it
sometimes got focus wrong on dirt of my
windshield, so don't treat it as cameras fault.

recently my TZ1 started to ruin the pictures taken
with flash.
The problem started after taken about 4000
pictures, not all of then with flash. In this
video the camera was calculating ISO 100 F=2.8 S
1/30, firing the flash in all the pictures.
most of them was under-exposed. and sometimes,
over-exposed.
In Auto Mode, the flash does not light the subject
properly, sometimes it gets completely dark and
sometimes it over-exposes the picture. As you can
see in the video, sometimes the flash does not
even lights my hand... :(
Fact is, no matter what metering mode I use, no
matter which flash mode is selected, the pictures
are not good.
Sometimes the Slow Sync Red Eye Reduction just
flashes once, and the picture is ruined.
It was not happening before.

update
levei a câmera a uma assistência, me
i took the camera to a authorized assistance and
they charged me $160 (R$340) to get my camera
fixed. a circuit board was replaced, wich may cost
about $ 70. now the camera is working fine.
i just had been set down in $ 160 bucks... a lot
for me.
Recentemente minha TZ1 começou a arruinar as
fotos tiradas usando flash.
O problema começou após tirar cerca de 4000
fotos, nem todas elas com flash. Neste vÃdeo a
câmera estava calculando ISO 100, F=2.8 S 1/30,
acionando o flash em todas as fotos.
a maioria das fotos ficaram sub-expostas. e as
vezes sobre-expostas.
No modo Auto, o flash não ilumina o assunto
apropriadamente, as vezes as fotos ficam
completamente escuras, as vezes ficam sobre
expostas. Como pode ser visto no vÃdeo, as vezes
o flash se quer ilumina minha mão... :(
Fato é que, não importa que modo de medição eu
uso, não importa que modo de flash está
selecionado, as fotos não ficam boas.
As vezes o modo Sincronização lenta com
redução de olhos vermelhos so aciona o flash uma
vez, e a foto fica arruinada.
Isso não acontecia antes.

atualização
levei a câmera a uma assistência, me cobraram R$
340,00 para arrumar. trocaram uma placa que custa
cerca de $70,00.
agora a câmera funciona perfeitamente.
só fiquei sem R$ 340 pratas...
