On Monday night a viewer came by the station with
video of a UFO he captured on his cellphone
Saturday night. He says it was in the northern
part of the sky and stayed there for 10-15
minutes. After hearing that story on our news,
other viewers began to email and call us with
their sighting claims. One man, Dennis Limon of
Aransas Pass told us that he was out in front of
his home when he spotted the object. It was large
and yellow to orange in color. He claims that it
also had a fire or sparks coming from behind the
object. Federal officials at N-A-S Corpus Christi
say that no one was manning their control tower
over the weekend and at the airport nothing
unusual was reported. Still, there are a number of
eyewitnesses who saw they saw something in the
sky. But what it was may remain a mystery.

Lake Erie UFO: A Closer Examination
What is depicted in the picture above?
Is it two jets several miles apart from each
other?
Or two police cars several yards apart from each
other?
Or is it what each of us want it to be?
UFO NEWS - On February 6th we posted Michael Lee
Hill's UFO video captured on August 18th, 2006 on
the shores of Lake Erie. Six days later it has
generated a heated debate in the post's comments.
Many skeptics believe the lights pictured above
are two distant jets coming at us in a landing
pattern - appearing to hover. Other skeptics say
these are two police cars driving across a hill at
night - on parallel roads with distance forcing
the perspective.
We don't think so.
1) Michael Lee Hill tells us he shot this in
Eastlake, Ohio. In this topo map of the area you
will see no hills near or across the shoreline.
2) If these aircraft are flying towards Eastlake
then we can only find two destinations, Lost
Nation Municipal Airport and Cuyahoga County
Airport. Neither of these airports look the part
for what would be obviously BIG planes on
approach.
3) If these aircraft were coming in to Cleveland
Airport they would be traveling from right to
left.
4) In the frame grab above shouldn't there be an
appreciable size difference between two aircraft
of this size, miles apart — even with the
alleged mirage affect?
UFO NEWS believes these two 'things' are flying
about 20 feet apart from each other.
If anyone would like to further debunk this
sighting I believe we must begin with these new

MEXICO CITY - Mexican Air Force pilots filmed 11
unidentified flying objects in the skies over
southern Campeche state, a Defense Department
spokesman confirmed Tuesday.
A videotape made widely available to the news
media on Tuesday shows the bright objects, some
sharp points of light and others like large
headlights, moving rapidly in what appears to be a
late-evening sky.
The lights were filmed on March 5 by pilots using
infrared equipment. They appeared to be flying at
an altitude of about 3,500 meters (11,480 feet),
and allegedly surrounded the Air Force jet as it
conducted routine anti-drug trafficking vigilance
in Campeche. Only three of the objects showed up
on the plane's radar.
'Was I afraid? Yes. A little afraid because we
were facing something that had never happened
before,' said radar operator Lt. German Marin in a
taped interview made public Tuesday.
'I couldn't say what it was ... but I think
they're completely real,' added Lt. Mario Adrian
Vazquez, the infrared equipment operator. Vazquez
insisted that there was no way to alter the
recorded images.
The plane's captain, Maj. Magdaleno Castanon, said
the military jets chased the lights 'and I believe
they could feel we were pursuing them.'
When the jets stopped following the objects, they
disappeared, he said.
A Defense Department spokesman confirmed Tuesday
that the videotape was filmed by members of the
Mexican Air Force. The spokesman declined to
comment further and spoke on customary condition
of anonymity.
The video was first aired on national television
Monday night then again at a news conference
Tuesday by Jaime Maussan, a Mexican investigator
who has dedicated the past 10 years to studying
UFOs.
'This is historic news,' Maussan told reporters.
'Hundreds of videos (of UFOs) exist, but none had
the backing of the armed forces of any country.
... The armed forces don't perpetuate frauds.'
Maussan said Secretary of Defense Gen. Ricardo
Vega Garcia gave him the video on April 22. --

Update June 2008: McKinnon's legal team have
managed to keep him in the UK so far, but the
results of a hearing that was held on May 16, 2008
might change that. Although complicated, the House
of Lords process may ultimately decide whether
McKinnon is sent to the USA, allowed to stay in
the UK or given the opportunity to serve a
predetermined sentence in the UK based on a
conviction under American Law. The problem is that
U.S. and UK Laws differ in many ways and trying to
match up the processes involved is no easy task no
matter what side of this issue you are on. Many
believe that Britain's lack of enthusiasm to
prosecute McKinnon may be motivated by their own
secrecy or even revenge. Some people say that
McKinnon was secretly and unknowingly being used
as a pawn by one or more British Intelligence
Services. They believe that these services wanted
to know what the U.S. Military did and does about
ETs and their agenda. Others say that failure of
the USA to turn over IRA supporters, sympathizers,
fund-raisers and members to the UK during the
1960s and 1970s has resulted in the current
stalemate with McKinnon.

Gary McKinnon, the British hacker facing
extradition over allegations he broke into US
Military and NASA sites, has earned the right to
take his case to the House of Lords.
The law Lords agreed to hear arguments that US
authorities acted in an "oppressive" and
"arbitrary" manner during plea bargaining
negotiations, for example by allegedly threatening
McKinnon over the loss of rights to serve part of
his sentence in the UK unless he submitted to
voluntary extradition.
The House of Lords was not bound to consider
McKinnon's final appeal - for example it declined
to hear the appeal of the NatWest Three bankers,
so the Lords' decision is a significant fillip for
McKinnon and his legal team.
