| Second to Last Scene on OUR LAST DAYS |

This is the second to last scene in my Simation
film 'Our Last Days'. Here after thinking that her
husband was killed in the war mishin the main
character goes on with her life. Years past and
her husband comes back, when happy she finds out
that he is to go back to war again, she is madend
and leads to this 'silent' scene. It protays them
having their last dinner together. After that it
leads to the last scene in which 'Mishin' the main
character is old and dieing.

HISTORICO DA LINHA: A linha foi construÃda em
partes: pela Southern Brazilian Rio Grande do Sul
Railway Company Limited, sucessora de uma série
de concessões anteriores, a Bagé-MarÃtima, em
1884. De Cacequi a São Gabriel, em meados de 1896
e de São Sebastião a Bagé, no final do mesmo
ano, ambos pela pela E. F. Porto
Alegre-Uruguaiana. Em 1900, a união São
Sebastião-São Gabriel completaria o trecho
Bagé-Rio Grande. Era uma linha de grande
utilidade pois transportava gado e charque para o
porto do Rio Grande, apesar de, no final do
século 19, ter baixo movimento por causa dos
altos preços do frete, dos maus serviços e da
interrupção do serviço dos trens pela
Revolução Federalista. Os trens de passageiros
partiam de Livramento, em outra linha, chegavam a
Cacequi e dali até Bagé. Em Bagé, havia que se
trocar de trem para chegar a Rio Grande. Uma
série de variantes foi entregue entre 1968 e os
anos 1980 - Pedras Altas, Três Estradas, Pedro
Osório, Pelotas - que encurtaram e melhoraram seu
traçado, eliminando diversas das estações
originais. Até 1982 as linhas ainda transportavam
passageiros, quando o serviço foi interrompido
devido ao desabamento de uma ponte em Pedro
Osorio; uma nova linha foi construÃda logo
depois. O transporte de passageiros retornou algum
tempo depois mas com trens mistos, que duraram
