Piotr Walecki originally from Poland, now living
in Wolverhampton, is well known within the Slade
community. Piotr (Peter)who had his own rock band
(Sapo), played cover songs, including Slade of
course. His 1st visit back in the Midlands last
year (2006) in many years, played acoustic set in
Slade's local the Trumpet in Bilston. It went down
so well he decided to come back this year, but
this time he stayed and working in the Midlands.
At this year's Sladefest weekend, not only did he
play in the Trumpet again, but was asked to do
acoustic st on stage at the Robin in Bilston. i'll
try and upload something else from his set at a
later date, in the meantime enjoy these little
numbers.
