| Sora VS Xaldin |
 |
Not affecting anyone personally, but for future
reference, I never really intended for this to be
judged against anything. I mostly played for fun,
and recored scenes as I went along. I just put
stuff up for people to reflect back and watch a
few clips from the game, nothing serious really.
lol
The epic showdown between Sora and Xaldin. Xaldin
stole Beast's precious rose that unlocks his true
nature. Sora chases Xaldin down and ends up in
this cataclysmic showdown.
To Note:
-Video lags 4:30 min. in... it did that during
gameplay too. The capture card couldn't handle it
all I guess. Video returns to normal stream after
a minute or so (or fast forward to 5:15), so don't
wory ^_^;;
-Fought Xaldin in Proud mode, no restarts.

| Kingdom Hearts II -088- Xaldin |
 |
Xaldin (ザルディン, Zarudin?), appears in
Kingdom Hearts II. He is also known as the
"Whirlwind Lancer" (旋風の六槍, Senpū no
Rokusō?, lit. "Six Lances of the Whirlwind").
Xaldin's original self was named Dilan
(ディラン, Diran?, mistransliterated as Dilin
in the North American version). Xaldin is voiced
by David Dayan Fisher in the English version of
Kingdom Hearts II and Yōsuke Akimoto in the
Japanese version. With his powers, he uses wind to
manipulate his six lances and shield himself.
Xaldin's lances can transform into a dragon-shaped
contraption to attack opponents with whirlwinds.
Characteristics
Xaldin is a high-ranking and independent
Organization member, working alone for the
entirety of his presence in Kingdom Hearts II.
Xaldin is sadistic and revels in despair,
attempting to cause hopelessness for Beast both in
the castle and by taunting him and Sora during
their fight. He is tall, strongly built, and very
acrobatic, and his physical capabilities are
greatly enhanced by his control of the attribute
of wind, which he can use to maneuver himself into
a variety of attacks.
Xaldin fights using six lances conjured from the
wind. He can carry at least three at a time, and
controls any of the lances he is not carrying by
using the air around him, while at the same time
floating through the air without much effort. Some
of his numerous attacks include using wind to
strike with his lances from above, lashing out
with his lances at different angles, spinning
around in a circle with his weapons connected and
outstretched, conjuring blasts of wind to damage
his enemies, and combine his lances into a
dragon-like figure that can release a whirlwind
from its mouth. He is often difficult to attack
due to his whirling lances forming a barrier
around him, but by using the reaction command
"Learn", Sora can use a jumping attack to disrupt
his pattern of attack, dealing great damage and
leaving him vulnerable to attack by Sora's
keyblade.
Xaldin controls the Dragoon Nobodies, which are
Nobodies armed with a spear that can float in the
air and use diving attacks. Like Xaldin, they have
the reaction command of "learn", giving Sora the
ability to use a jumping attack to defeat them.
Although Xaldin is only the third Organization
member battled in Kingdom Hearts II, the fight
against him was considered difficult enough that
it was one of the ten battles in the game where
King Mickey can rescue Sora if he is defeated (the
other nine including the fight against Xemnas
(first armored form) and Cerberus).
Battle Quotes
"Where's the fun in this?"
"Wind, guard me!"
"Enough!"
"What?"
"Here!"
"Come on..."
"Wind!"
"Take this!"
"Sora!"
"Beware the face of despair!"
"Is this the end?"
Trivia
In the Japanese version, Xaldin was voiced by
seiyuu Yousuke Akimoto, whose last involvement
with Square Enix was to voice Judge Magister
Bergan of Final Fantasy XII.
In the PAL version of Kingdom Hearts II, a Secret
Ansem Report accidentally spells his original name
as Dilin.
In the manga of Kingdom Hearts II, Xaldin is
defeated, and retreats to The World That Never
Was. While walking back to headquarters he is
confronted by a Vexen clone, and after a brief
conversation, is killed by him, most likely on the
ground that he failed as such an important task
(It is possible that Xaldin was killed in self
defense since he attacked the Vexen clone first).
He is never shown holding his lances but instead,
all six float around him.
He serves as the replacement villain for the
narcissistic hunter Gaston, the original villain
of Beauty and the Beast. It is safe to assume,
however, that he exists in that world considering
that the Beast became human immediately after the
hunter fell to his doom. Tags : kingdom hearts ii final mix axel sora riku roxas xemnas organisation xiii donald goofy ps2 |

| Kingdom Hearts II - Xaldin (Boss) |
 |
This is me playing Kindgom Hearts II for
Playstation 2.
Now that I'm doing a second playthrough of KH2
(Not a low level this time), I feel like uploading
at least one boss fight I didn't get to upload
last playthrough. This is the Xaldin boss fight in
Beast's Castle. Many consider this one of the
hardest Orginization XIII fights, however, it's
actually pretty easy if you know what you're
doing.
Here's a few tips for people who have trouble. The
trick is to not recklessly engage Xaldin in
combat. Doing so will end up with you dead in less
than 10 seconds, since he has wind guarding him
that do pretty decent damage. His main slashing
attacks do huge damage and could two hit kill you.
At the beginning of the fight, parry his first
attack by using Guard. This will cause him to be
stunned for about 2 seconds, with a new reaction
command called "Learn" showing up. Mash the
Triangle button until you got as many jumps as you
can (6-10 is good). "Attack" should be replaced
with "Jump x#" now. Simply press X as many times
as you can until the jumping stops. These do huge
damage to Xaldin and stun him nicely. After you
used up the jumps, back away as he will probably
try to counter you. If he jumps towards you, parry
with Guard quickly to gain more chances to get
Jump. If he jumps up in the air, get ready to run
around, as he will start dropping on top of you.
If you're slick, you can gain Jumps from this too.
After you knock him down to two and a half life
bars, he gains new attacks. The first should be
him being invincible and doing a huge combo that
could easily kill you. You can either attempt to
block it all with Guard, or run far away. His
combo doesn't have great range. After he finishes
the combo, he will most likely start his next new
attack, where he jumps on his lances and flies
around. He will then unleash a huge energy beam.
Use Reflect if you have MP, otherwise just heal
with a potion after. After this point, the only
time he's really vunerable is when he yells
something (I think it's "Sora") but only when he's
not on his lances in the air. This is the fight
that many of the button mashers will fail horribly
at. One last note is, don't try to rely on Goofy
and Donald. They'll end up knocked out most of the
fight because they keep trying to attack Xaldin
when they shouldn't. And DO NOT try to use Drives.
The chances of hitting Anti-Form are very high in
this fight (as well as Mickey showing up to help
you).

| 200th Video Special - Axel vs Xaldin |
 |
Yes, boys and girls, its my 200th video
spectacular. All I had to do was ignore Youtube
for months because I'm lazy as hell.
Anyway, my original intent came from a suggestion
from Namine4628 who wanted to see an Axel vs Axel
fight. The problem I found is that since Axel
absorbs fire, all of his attacks are negated on
enemy Axel. So I had to settle for the next best
thing.
Here is Axel vs Xaldin. I did this for two
reasons:
One, they look cool when they fight.
Two, he's the easiest enemy to view with Sora as
the cameraman. The others would have not worked
so well.
But this fight does have its tough parts to view
properly. Xaldin is invincible when he surrounds
himself with wind, negating half of Axel's
attacks. Xaldin can be patterned when Axel hits
him. 90% of the time, Xaldin does a spear sweep
move that Sora has to jump over to avoid. the
other 10%, which also happens if Xaldin walks
towards you, is a Spear lunge at Sora. This is
really quick and kept catching me off-guard.
Sometimes, it turns Sora around, so I miss the
fight.
Truth be told, even after all that time fighting,
Axel only does about 1 HP bar of damage. He was
programmed to fight nobodies. Sure, I could have
had him fight Xaldin alone, save for the finishing
move that Sora needs to do to end the fight, but
then you would have a 60 min movie, and my account
only does 10 min limits.
Please enjoy. And I will be posting more videos
soon. Tags : Kingdom Hearts KH KHII Sora Roxas Riku Axel Organization XIII Nobody Code Breaker Hack Playstation Fight RPG Square |
