I made these buttons to go with my Simplicity 3631
jacket.
The sleeve belt idea was suggested in the Fall
2007 issue of the SewStylish magazine.

in November; we chose and bought this coat fabric
together. :)
OOPS: I made a mistake in converting 2 mm into
inches. 2mm = 1/8", not 1/4 :) I was talking of
the seam allowance for the gathering stitch. :)

Hello, I'm Cameron Akhunaton, the human behind the
exploration vehicle I call Magic Sound Fabric. My
goal is to make music that gives me and you an
ethereal experience. Thanks to modern
technological toys, I am able to manifest
chilled-out mind expanding sound waves for your
listening pleasure. I pass the data of these
discoveries to you.
Magic Sound Fabric is Cameron Akhunaton. After
several years of exploring ambient avenues in
rural Virginia, this independent musician has
experienced what he calls a sonic epiphany,
resulting in a more charismatic sound that is
spiced with a funky, uptempo attitude.
Q: Would you like to elucidate your transition
from ambience to more melodic electronic music?
AHKUNATON: Although I love beatless ambient and
will continue to experiment with it, I am finding
it more interesting to work with creating rhythms
and melodic grooves. Rhythm gives me a thrill and
a rush that is very intoxicating. When I compose,
I rework until the groove gives me a pleasant
mind-altering experience. It's a very good time.
Sometimes it does get overwhelming with all the
possibilities. Ambient music has such a huge
experimental palette. I am writing for myself but
also for the listeners. What would the people like
to hear? Where would they like to go?
