This is my Asus Eee PC 701 4G 512MB DDR2 Pearl White with FULL WINDOWS XP SP2 INSTALLED.
REMEMBER THAT SOME PROGRAMS ARE RUNNING FROM A WIRELESS HARDRIVE.SOME PEOPLE DON'T READ AND SEND STUPID MESSAGES.
PEOPLE DONT BELIEVE IT AT FIRST BECAUSE ASUS ONLY HAS 4G OF MEMORY. SO THEY THINK THAT ITS IMPOSIBLE TO RUN PHOTOSHOP,ITUNES OR WORD BUT U CAN.
PLEASE DON'T HATE IF U HAVE A QUESTION ASK
THIS VIDEO IS NOT TO SHOW OFF ITS TO SHOW WHAT THE ASUS IS CAPABLE OF DOING.
Its been more than two months since I bought it.... and Its Just Great!!!
Star-up about 1 minute....(kind of slow, cause its full and nothing modified)
I have installed iTunes, Photoshop CS3, Full Microsoft Office 2007, McAfee anti-virus, Adobe Acrobat, Quicktime, and WinRAR. I also have the Emulators like Rocknesx, NeoRAGE, Project64, Mame, Famicom, GameboyAdvance and Gameboy. I dont have all games inside the computer, i have only my favorite in my SD card. The rest are in my wireless Hard-Drive, so when I am at home I can play any game via wireless access. Same thing goes with my movies, music, Picture- you name it...
In the vid I ended up with 469MB... if I were to delete everything I would have appr. 1.4 free space.... (not bad for full xp sp2 installation).
I did try the nLite version but I couldn't get it to work... but now I know why.... I'll give it a try... and maybe get more free space out of it....
