My neighbour Tom Murray is a musical Instrument restorer/repairer and was commissioned to restore this Louis Panormo Guitar, made in 1823. The Panormo family worked in London from the 1780's until 1895. Note that the head stock has peg tuning, it was to be several more years until Panormo used machine heads. Sor and Panormo did meet. and Sor aquired a couple of Panormos Guitars. I was surprised at how nice this guitar was but I didnt find it easy to play at first- this is the first piece I played, its a bit ropey I can play it better :-) If you would like more info about Tom Murray Instrument Repair please pm me.
