The album 'Monster' will be released on Friday 22nd. Most of you will not have known OOMPH! until they published their breakthrough single "Augen auf!" in early 2004, but the band having their origins near Braunschweig, Germany, can present a proud history of more than 15 years. After they won the federal vision song contest with their single "Träumst Du" last year, in which they were supported by Die Happy singer Marta Jandová, Oomph! should be a trademark for everybody now.
This summer Oomph! have already published their tenth studio album called "Monster".
The song "Beim ersten Mal tut's immer weh" is the first messenger from their new album.
Starting loud and fast, the song melody becomes rhythmic in the verses and rocky and melodious in the chorus.
The lyrics, provoking from the view of the criminal, will be grounds for discussion for sure. The end will bring about a refined twist however.
With this song Oomph! have proved once again that they are again and again able to reinvent themselves.
